Welcome to the
International Peace Charter
The world is growing more unstable. Since World War II ten’s of million of people have died through over 250 armed conflicts worldwide.
Today, military spending surges, and a new arms race fuels mistrust and snap reactions. We’re becoming more divided at the very moment we need shared restraint.
The International Peace Charter (IPC) is a new organization, operating independently of the United Nations, with the purpose of creating world peace.
The Charter
Commitment to Peace and Unity – Together We Can Create World Peace
All countries of the world must make an immediate declaration and commitment to:
Declare Peace
Renounce war and violence; promote nonviolence and cooperation.
Dialogue
Resolve disputes through dialogue, mediation, and reconciliation.
Disarm for Humanity
Eliminate offensive weapons and redirect resources toward human development.
Redefine Military Purpose
Ensure militaries defend and protect; not invade or attack.

Honour borders and peoples’ right to self-determination.
Protect Humanity
End discrimination and uphold dignity and diversity for peace.
Fair Justice
Support impartial courts and transitional justice for accountability and healing.
Defend Truth
Fight disinformation and hate; promote responsible, reliable information.
Environmental Peace
Prevent conflict by protecting climate, land, water, and resources.
Collective Harmony
Foster well-being and empathy through meditation.
Heal & Rebuild
Rebuild trust, address trauma, and mend divisions after conflict.
Vision Statement
A peaceful world built on justice, dialogue, and mutual respect, where all people live free from violence and fear.
Mission Statement
The mission of International Peace Charter (IPC) is to create world peace by encouraging the leader(s) of each country in the world to endorse and ratify the International Peace Charter.
This will be accomplished through the initiation of an international peace movement utilizing the power of the Web. Taken together we can have a positive influence, by encouraging our respective leaders to endorse and ratify the Peace Charter through an online petition and e-mail campaign.
This will also be accomplished through the establishment of an international peace mediation committee consisting of world citizens with the goal of mediating current and ongoing military conflicts through adherence to the principles of the International Peace Charter.

Call For Action
Our vision is for an international peace movement through the collective power of the internet. In the historical context of dealing with war, the Web is a relatively new phenomenon. The Web creates a communication system that unites all citizens of the world and all countries of the world. In essence, through the Web we are one world and one planet.
Through the proliferation of nuclear and conventional weapons throughout the world we have developed a military arsenal capable of destroying the planet 5 times over. There are currently over 60 conflicts in countries throughout the world.
We must communicate to our leaders that this is irrational, immature, irresponsible policy and behaviour. It must stop.
An online petition and online emails are a powerful combination. Numbers matter. We can demonstrate strength in public opinion through the sheer volume of petitioned names and emails. This is the newest and best way to communicate to our leaders.
While a petition is powerful, what is more powerful is everyone, collectively, participating through emails. Emails represent both a plea and prayer to our leaders for world peace. We would encourage you to do both the petition and the email for maximum benefit and result.
This as a quick and easy process. With a few keystrokes, you can contribute towards a national and international peace movement. You don’t have to leave your home to make a statement to your MP. Please add your name to the petition and send an email to your MP in your words or in the words as we have provided.
Also, please share the InternationalPeaceCharter.Org web site with your friends, family and other contacts.
Thank you for helping to create a national and international peace movement. Together we can create world peace!
