Reverence to Nature and Mother Earth

The Eternal Truth – Peace is not a Factor; It’s a Natural Outcome of Spirituality and Reverence to Nature and Mother Earth.

Reverence to Mother Nature: God Created entire Creation in their own Image. Humans, Animals and Mother Nature. This Creation is the Manifestation of Gods Sacred Energy. Human Body itself is made up of five elements of Nature – Fire, Water, Air, Space and Mother Earth.

WHAT IS LIFE: When we say God created entire Creation in their own image it means that every Soul is coming from the Supreme Soul God and our Soul has the same essence that is the Union of Consciousness (Masculine Aspect) and Energy (Feminine Aspect). And it’s the same for entire existence because Every Living Being is Breathing and Is Conscious.

Interconnectedness: The same Divine Essence (Atman/Brahman/Universe/Consciousness and Energy) exists in all beings. This makes the entire Life and Existence Interconnected.

So, when we all are interconnected, and if we harm animals, Mother Nature or even Humans, we are actually harming ourselves.

A rich foundation for environmental stewardship is rooted in the understanding that nature is sacred, interconnected, and worthy of reverence rather than exploitation. The environment should not be viewed as separate from human life, but as part of the same divine reality.

Sacredness of Nature

The natural world is Divine Creation. Rivers, mountains, forests, animals, and the earth itself are honoured as manifestations of sacred energy. This reverence encourages care, restraint, and gratitude toward the environment.

Key Teachings Supporting Environmental Stewardship

1. Non-Harm

It teaches minimizing harm to all living beings. This principle extends beyond human relationships to animals, ecosystems, and the earth itself. Pollution, waste, and environmental destruction are forms of violence.

2. Non-Possessiveness

This teaching encourages moderation, simplicity, and avoiding greed or excessive consumption. It aligns closely with sustainable living and responsible resource use (renewable energy).

Scriptural Insights

The Bhagavad Gita teaches balance, self-control, and performing one’s duty without selfish attachment. The Atharva Veda includes hymns honouring the Mother Earth and praying for harmony with nature. One famous sentiment from the Mother Earth Hymn expresses the Earth as Mother and Humanity as her children and that is why we call her Mother Nature. A Mother Loves their Children Unconditionally and that is What Mother Earth Has been Doing – Loving the Entire Humanity Unconditionally but now it’s the Responsibility of the Children also to Take Care of their Mother just like we take care of our Mother at Home.

Environmental Practices Ethics

     •  Protecting sacred groves

     •  Conserving water bodies

     •  Seasonal fasting and mindful consumption

     •  Ritual gratitude for harvests and natural cycles

     •  Sustainable lifestyles

     •  Community conservation efforts

     •  Seeing ecological care as spiritual practice

     •  Reducing waste and overconsumption through Zero Waste Management and Circular Economy

     •  Vegetarianism and Compassion toward animals – When Humans consume Meat or exploit animals they harm the Mother Nature by Unbalancing the Natural ecosystem. It’s Animal Cruelty and they are Harming Themselves through earning Bad Karma. No Animal dies happily. It’s the Energy of Pain and Meat Consumption is direct intake of the painful energy. God created natural healthy food systems for the Humans to consume.

Food Is Energy, Food is Love and Food is Connection and is Mother Earths Most Pure and Sacred Energy. This is the Energy Humans should Intake.

Core Message
